My pledges

I would like to see solar panels on every suitable roof in Britain.

Progress towards this objective  would drastically reduce the costs of installation due to the economies of scale and stimulate investment in UK renewable energy companies.  As a result householders would be rewarded for producing energy and cut their energy bills.

I favour substantial financial disincentives for second homes and dwellings which have been left empty for more than a year.  This will provide some additional homes for the area and help improve properties falling into disrepair.
