⁠⁠I am an experienced politician and have represented citizens as an Independent Councillor in Windsor for 10 years, through the West Windsor Residents Association. I have campaigns against developments that destroy our green belt and harm residents through dangerous levels of air pollution. In recent years I have also raised levels of achievement on the damaging aspects of Climate Change both through the Royal Berkshire Pension Fund, speaking regularly at conferences, and also through the Local Government Association.

I have a track record helping people and especially vulnerable people throughout my life including, in recent years as a founding Trustee of the COVID response turned poverty relief charity, founded by my wife and others, called the West Windsor Hub.

Professionally, I am a practising Accountant (FCCA) and Corporate Treasurer (AMCT) who has spent decades helping businesses and individuals get the best out of HMRC and financiers. I have even written a now dated book for ordinary workers snappily titled, “How to get a tax refund and pay less tax in future: an employee’s guide to tax allowances hidden in plain view”

I have also spent time teaching secondary science at Upton Court Grammar School.

In my personal life, I am married to former midwife, Carole, and between us we have 5 children, and three adorable grandchildren. I am also a bee-keeper and dabble in jewellery & metal smithing.

Why am I standing?

This is the key general election which could help improve business and the wellbeing of citizens and our countryside whilst smartly protecting against future harm and excess deaths expected from runaway Climate Change.

Climate Party will see Britain lead the renewed clean industrial revolution that is essential for economic revival and increased prosperity for our people. 

But this requires competent leaders who are able to guide a visionary mission, with clarity of purpose and a clear target to reduce inflation and improve well being, well in advance of other developed economies who are already aiming at 2030; 2030 is being screamed for by mainstream scientists as an SOS cry.

We aim to provide such a rescue mission.

My pledges

  • I will push Thames Water and their major shareholders to stop polluting and clean up our chalk rivers including the Missbourne and Chess, and seek appropriate compensation for those impacted negatively in the constituency by HS2 

  • I will promote solutions to help under 40s to find homes locally

  • I will strive to facilitate low cost, green, transport solutions to enable people to get to where they need to as conveniently as possible

  • I will put people first rather than the interests of a political party

  • The Climate Party will see  Britain lead the renewed clean industrial revolution that is essential for economic revival and increased prosperity for our people. 

  • The Climate Party will help improve business and the wellbeing of citizens and our countryside whilst smartly protecting against future harm and excess deaths expected from runaway Climate Change.

  • The Climate Party will provide such a rescue mission.

  • The Climate Party will provoke restoration of nature in the British isles by 2030 and the protection of our waterways from pollution immediately
