Britain betrayed again as world heats to 1.5C!
Formally launched on Monday 5 September 2022, the Climate Party has gone from strength to strength with its leader Ed Gemmell regularly interviewed on TV and radio.
The Climate Party follows a centre right pro-business pro-climate positioning.
“British people have been betrayed again by the Labour Party at the same time as the world heats up by 1.5C” says the Climate Party Leader furiously, “Pathetic and spineless. Once again, a current political leader shows their party’s own self-interest comes above the country’s interests”
Ed Gemmell, the Climate Party Leader, is clear:
“the clean industrial revolution is happening whether we like it or not. 87% of World GDP is already covered by a decarbonisation commitment. The direction of travel is clear. The train is leaving and we must be on board! The British government must invest heavily now, well beyond the paltry £28 billion. This will stimulate massive private investment on a scale not seen since we led the original Industrial Revolution. Britain does not have enough money for public services such as the NHS and police. There will never be enough money without a massive industrial revival – the World’s rush to Net Zero provides that opportunity. Let’s make the tech of tomorrow in Leeds and Liverpool rather than in Shanghai and Beijing”
The Climate Party is the party of business in the UK and the only party with a vision and an industrial strategy. The Climate Party wants to see Britain grabbing the vast commercial opportunity of the global race to net zero and leading the new clean industrial revolution through stimulating the British economy with the target of decarbonisation by 2030.
